The Preccelerator® Program is an accelerator for early-stage startups offered to select companies out of the Santa Monica office of Stubbs Alderton & Markiles, LLP. They provide members interim office space, sophisticated legal services, mentorship, investment strategy and access to a strategic perks portfolio with the objective of helping them grow their ideas from business concept to funded startup. Aside from that, they offer nearly $500k in perks and incentives to startups who join their program.
Prospus initially engaged with Preccelerator COO Heidi Hubbeling in 2018 as a client in a site rebuild they were planning. “We have extensive experience working with early stage startups and founders, so when we learned more about Preccelerator, I wanted to get involved”, said Prospus President and Founder Marc Ragsdale. “There are exciting things happening in Santa Monica right now, and Preccelerator is front-and-center”, he added.
Preccelerator is only the latest investment group that Prospus has joined with. We have worked with multiple investment groups around the world, primarily in North America, Japan, India and Australia. “I’ve seen a lot in my years as a young entrepreneur. I moved all the way around the world to India to launch my startup. You have to be prepared to suffer a bit to make your startup work”, said Ragsdale. “When I spent a week at the Preccelerator office I saw passionate entrepreneurs from every background, working for a dream. Preccelerator, under Heidi [Hubbeling] has created an amazing space for these entrepreneurs to thrive. I’m excited to work with them”.
