Prospus Consulting Private Limited (Prospus CPL), our India-based delivery center, hit an important milestone last week when we hired our 200th full-time employee. Founded in 2011, Prospus CPL started with just 8 full-time employees in a small Noida office. But by the end of 2013 we were at 30 employees. Prospus is uniquely positioned to help small to mid-size firms scale their own internal IT operations by bridging the cultural and communication divide that normally separates American clients from great outcomes with offshore teams. Our growth was further accelerated this past year when we secured contracts from two well-known Fortune 500 corporations, allowing us to invest in our employees and build out our teams even more.
Our headcount growth in 2015 included some key hires to our leadership team, including a new Director of Projects, and VP of Sales. Over the past year we also onboarded more than 45 team members remotely. To celebrate, we had a paid day out celebrating in a local park. Employees that have been around since the early days have been particularly impressed by Prospus’s growth and accomplishments. One of our original 8 employees remarked on how the Prospus team is the largest in the locale where our office is situated, and how all the local eateries have started coordinating their staffing schedules when the Prospus team heads out on break.
